Application scope

      DW17(ME)Series Air Circuit Breaker(refereed to as circuit breaker hereinafter) can be applied in AC circuits(50Hz,400V,690V,rated current up to 5000A) to allocate electric power and protect unfrequented switch line, power distribution system,and dynamo,etc,against overload,under voltage,and short circuit.Circuit breakers of 630A level and below can be used in AC network(50Hz,400V)to protect dynamo against overload and short circuit,and under the same circumstance,it can also be used to infrequently start the dynamo.

Structure Character

      The circuit breaker adopts three-D type pyramid structure,and it is classified into four shell-bracket current levels,namely,630-1650A,2000-3205A,3200-3205A and 4000-4005.630-1605 shell bracket is the basic of the four,and other shell brackets are fixed together respectively in pyramid structure according to different rated current. The circuit breaker is comprised of framework,contactor system,arc extinguish system,dropout device,operation mechanism,drawer base,sword-insert base,and 2-time connecting loop.The general structure is classified into two types,fixed type and drawer type,and extra long direct rail is available in the later for convenience of repair.Wiring pattern is divided into vertical type and horizontal type,and operation patterns are manual operation,electric rapid operation,and electric presorted energy operation.Over current dropout device of the circuit breaker is comprised of instant type,long time-relay type,and short time-relay type.Users may make a combination according to practical requirements to realize one-stage or two-stage protection.
